Laboratories at the BGBM

The Laboratories Section supplies all researchers and guests of the BGBM with scientific counsel and facilities such as molecular, micro-morphological, algae and lichen laboratories where research on the systematics of plants can be conducted. In addition, the Laboratories Section is establishing a new type of collection, the DNA-Bank, which is complementing the Living Collections and the Herbarium. The scientists of this section also teach and conduct research in their own fields of expertise in systematic botany.
