The BGBM's public information system on the WWW is based on a prototype developed in the course of the diploma thesis of Mrs. Dörthe Hildebrandt, in cooperation with the department for EDP and Documentation. BGBM staff has now taken over the extension and maintenance of the system, the co-ordination being maintained by Dr. Harrie Sipman and Dr. Walter Berendsohn.
