Opening hours on January 10 + 11, 2026 due to the Christmas Garden Berlin:

Please be aware that the weather situation may be severe this weekend, imposing us to change our opening times. We strongly recommend to check www.bo.berlin prior to your visit. Thanks a lot for your understanding and walk safely!

The exits close exactly at the time indicated above. After that time, it is no longer possible to leave the garden.

The Botanical Museum Berlin

The museum is closed due to modernisation until approx. 2027.

Due to the uncertain weather conditions, the Botanic Garden will remain closed. Tickets that have already been purchased will be refunded (via email to tickets@bo.berlin).

Christmas Garden Berlin
Due to the Christmas Garden event, the garden will close at 4:00 p.m. from November 19, 2025, to January 11, 2026. All ticket offices and greenhouses will close at 3:00 p.m.

Holiday opening hours

The Botanic Garden Berlin is open on public holidays such as Easter, 1 May, Ascension Day or German Unity Day. Exceptions are:

24 December 2026
The garden remains closed. Enjoy a merry Christmas Eve!

25, 26 and 31 December 2026
The garden closes at 16:00
All ticket offices and greenhouses close at 15:00
