Biology library at the Botanic Garden

The Library at the Botanic Garden is a specialist library of the University Library of the Freie Universität Berlin and includes in its premises

• the Library of the Botanic Garden and Botanical Museum Berlin (BGBM) Library code: 188/24
• the Biology Library of the Department Library code: 188/827

Due to continuing shortage of staff, the following opening hours will apply from calendar week 48: Monday to Thursday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed on Fridays). 

In addition to the portfolio of e-books, e-journals and databases which you can find on Primo as always, we have expanded our digitization service: https://www.fu-berlin.de/sites/ub/service/digitalisierung/index.html. If the materials you request are not available in digital format, we will digitize content from our holdings of printed books and journals for you – within the limits defined by intellectual property law.
